The Central Gunnery School record book (AIR29/2314) gives very basic information that on 25th May 1951 this aircraft received damage. Given the unit was based at Leconfield and it was repaired on site by 60 MU there, it probably occurred there. The unit had three Balliols on their books and they were used for drogue towing duties.
