On 21st March 1951 the starboard undercarriage jack of this 203 Advanced Flying School aircraft failed so that the undercarriage would not lower on the approach to land at Driffield. The pilot went on to make a wheels up landing. A Cat.4R damage assessment was made and it was later transported to D.H.Ltd. for a repair in wirks on 26th May 1951.
