On 28th September 1951 this 103 Flying Refresher School aircraft suffered brake cable failure as it landed at Full Sutton airfield. The pilot brought it down on the grass. The unit records do not list any damage being sustained but a Cat.2 damage assessment was made against it so it must have been damaged. The aircraft was repaired on site but was flown out to 27 MU at Shawbury in November 1951.
