On 16th April 1951 this No.101 Flying Refresher School aircraft was accidentally landed at Lindholme by mistake. While taxying prior to take off to return to Finningley airfield the aircraft ran off the perimeter track and on to soft ground, this caused the wheels to sink and the aircraft tipped on it's nose.
