The Central Gunnery School record book (AIR29/2314) gives very basic information that on 30th January 1951 this aircraft received damage. Given the unit was based at Leconfield it probably occurred there. The damage was initially deemed Cat.3 but this was later upgraded to Re-Cat.4 and it was then converted into a Ground Instructional Airframe 6850M.
