On 5th April 1951 this No.101 Flying Refresher School aircraft was being flown on a training flight when, on the approach to land at Finningley airfield, the pilot held off the runway a little too high and then pulled the control column back sharply. This caused the aircraft to balloon and then stall causing the starboard wing to drop. The wingtip then struck the ground on the airfield and was damaged.
Pilot - Cadet Sohiel (Saudi Arabian Air Force).
