Spitfire LF.XVI RW349 damaged in the air, landed at Full Sutton airfield.

On 25th June 1951 this No.103 Flying Refresher School aircraft lost the canopy in mid-flight during a cross country training flight causing minor damage to the aircraft. The pilot landed safely at Full Sutton and the canopy was later located.
