On 10th December 1951 this No.228 Operational Conversion Unit aircraft taxied into Mosquito RL267 at Leeming airfield, with the latter waiting clearance for a night take off. RL121 was initially assessed as having sustained repairable Cat.3, this was upgraded to Re-Cat.4 the following day. It was then transported to Brooklands for repair and then further upgraded to Re-Cat.5 and struck off charge on 1st April 1952.
