On 21st March 1951 or 1952 this aircraft was damaged in a heavy landing at Driffield airfield. No.203 Advanced Flying School was the unit the aircraft appears to have been with however their record book lists all flying accidents during March 1951 and this one is not listed. 1952 is therefore the more likely date but the orb lacks detail beyond 1951.
