On 23rd May 1951 this 203 Advanced Flying School aircraft suffered one of the main undercarriage legs jamming in the up position on the approach to land at Driffield airfield. The pilot subsequently attempted a landing with most of the weight on the one main wheel but eventually it settled and the opposite wing touched the ground. The damage was later repaired.
