On 21st June 1951 a Cat.3R damage assessment was made against this aircraft. It was on charge with No.203 Advanced Flying School, based at Driffield, at the time but how it was damaged is not known. It may not have been as the result of a flying accident. A repair was carried out on site and it was returned to the unit on 11th July 1951.
