The 60 Maintenance Unit record book (air29/2039) lists all the aeroplanes that they were tasked with making servicable. For this aircraft it states that it was ready during the month of April 1951 and they repaired it at Linton on Ouse. At the time Hornet PX305 was on charge with No.19 Squadron and based at Linton on Ouse. It presumably had a damage assessment made against it in either 1950 or early 1951 but when this was is not known. How it came to require a repair is not yet clear and this may not have been down to any flying related incident.
