The Central Gunnery School record book (AIR29/2314) gives very basic information that on 17th January 1951 this aircraft received damage. Given the unit was based at Leconfield it probably occurred there. The aircraft's AM Form 78 does not list the incident. Later in the year it was converted into Ground Instructional Airframe 6874M.
