The 60 Maintenance Unit record book (air29/2039) lists all the aeroplanes that they were tasked with making servicable. For this aircraft it states that it was ready during the month of April 1951 and they repaired it at Church Fenton. At the time Harvard KF960 was on charge with No.609 Squadron and based at Church Fenton. It presumably had a damage assessment made against it either in 1950 or in early 1951 but when this was is not known. How it came to require a repair is not yet clear and this may not have been down to any flying related incident.
