The 60 Maintenance Unit record book (air29/2039) lists all the aeroplanes that they were tasked with making servicable. For this aircraft it states that it was ready during the month of August 1951 and they repaired it at Thornaby. At the time Harvard FX207 was on charge with No.608 Squadron and based at Thornaby. It presumably had a damage assessment made against it earlier in 1951 or perhaps in 1950 but when this was is not known. How it came to require a repair is not yet clear and this may not have been down to any flying related incident.
