This aircraft was a very old machine. It was owned Yorkshire Avaiation Services Ltd, of Leeming between 1935 and 10th October 1937 when crashed at Clifton, York. It was listed as being destroyed or permanently withdrawn from use but was not totally scrapped. It must have been in store throughout the Second World War in York. On 16th June 1951 what was left of the aircraft was used as a target during the public Festival of Britain airshow at Clifton airfield. It was destroyed.

Who technically owned the aircraft at this late stage is not known.
