On 14th February 1951 this 203 Advanced Flying School aircraft was being intentionally flown during bad weather on a circuits and landings training exercise at Driffield airfield. During one of the landings the aircraft touched down twenty yards short of the runway and struck a runway marker which caused minor damage to the aircraft.
