The Flying Refresher School record book (AIR29/1809) gives basic information that on 16th November 1950 this aircraft was flown on a training flight involving practicing stalling and aerobatics. The visibility on the approach to land at Finningley was reduced and while the pilot touched down normally the brakes then failed and it over-ran the runway. The undercarriage doors sustained some damage. It was thought that the brakes had overheated on an earlier flight.
Pilot - F/Lt R J Street.
