Meteor T.7 VW423 (probably) at Driffield airfield.

On 4th January 1950 this No.203 Advanced Flying School aircraft undershot a landing and struck the airfield's inner marker beacon. Minor damage to the aircraft resulted. The incident probably occurred at Driffield airfield where the unit was based although it also used Carnaby airfield as a relief landing ground. The 203 AFS record book scribe did a poor job of recording their flying accidents around this time in respect of identifying the aircraft involved and where each incident occurred. It was repaired by 60 M.U. at Driffield and is listed in their record book as being made servicable in July 1950.
