On 22nd December 1950 Meteor VW419, of the Flying Refresher School, based at Finningley, overshot on landing at Finningley and ran into a ditch. Minor Cat.3R damage resulted and it was repaired on site, with it being returned to F.R.S. charge on 5th March 1951.
