A Cat.3R damage assessment was made against this aircraft on 14th March 1950 and at the time the aircraft was on charge with the Central Gunnery School, based at Leconfield. What caused the assessment to be made is not known. The 60 Maintenance Unit record book (air29/2039) lists all the aeroplanes that they were tasked with making servicable. For this aircraft it states that it was ready during the month of January 1951 and they repaired it at Leconfield.
