Probably on 12th December 1950 the undercarriage of this 228 Operational Training Unit aircraft sustained damage on landing at Leeming airfield. The damage was assessed as being Cat.3/FA by 60 MU and it was repaired on site, with it beng returned to 228 O.C.U. on 12th March 1951. The 228 OCU orb states that the incident took place on 12th December 1950 while the 7th December 1950 has also bene quoted elsewhere.
