A Cat.B/4R damage assessment was made against this 65 Squadron aircraft on 29th June 1950. The unit was officially based at Linton on Ouse at that time but their records mention that five days before this incident the squadron flew to West Malling where it was to be based for the Farnborough Display held in July 1950. Any incident probably occurred at Linton on Ouse or West Malling. It was probably a ground accident or a damage assessment made at Linton on Ouse while the squadron were away. It was sent to DeHavilland Ltd for a repair in works at Hatfield.
