On 17th August 1950 this Flying Refresher School aircraft was flown on a dual control night training exercise. During the flight the trainee pilot undertook a single engine circuit and landing at Finningley but during the landing neither the pupil or his instructor failed to notice that the undercarriage was not down. The aircraft then made a belly landing in error at Finningley airfield.
