The Flying Refresher School record book (AIR29/1809) gives basic information that on an unknown date in July 1950 a Wellington was damaged while it was stationary and being refuelled by a bowser at Finningley airfield. The driver of the bowser had not applied the handbrake and it rolled forward into the Wellington's pitot head.
