On 25th March 1950 this No.203 Advanced Flying School aircraft was flown on a formation flying exercise and on board was an instructor with a pupil. On their return to land, probably at base of Driffield, the pilot overshot the line on the runway on his final approach. The aircraft then appears to have nearly landed off the runway line but the pilot attempted to turn to staighten up. In making the manuever the aircraft stalled and the starboard wing dropped. The wing then hit the ground and was slightly damaged.
The 203 AFS record book scribe did a poor job of recording their flying accidents around this time in respect of identifying the aircraft involved and where each incident occurred. More information is required.
