The Flying Refresher School record book (AIR29/1809) gives basic information that on 24th August 1950 this unidentified Harvard landed at Finningley airfield. The pilot then slowed the aircraft and turned off the runway but struck a sodium flare in doing so. The aircraft suffered damage to the centre section and the centre flaps.
