The Flying Refresher School record book (AIR29/1809) gives basic information that on 19th May 1950 this unidentified Harvard carried out a normal landing at Finningley but with a slight crosswind blowing. The aircraft began to swing which the pilot was unable to check before the starboard oleo fork broke and the starboard wing was slightly damaged.
