The Flying Refresher School record book (AIR29/1809) gives basic information that on 16th January 1950 a Wellington T.10, that had been flown on a night circuits and landing training exercise, landed at Finningley but tipped up on to its nose when the pilot braked hard. The tail then fell back down to the ground heavily.
