The Flying Refresher School record book (AIR29/1809) gives basic information that on 15th October 1950 this aircraft was flown on a dual circuits and landings training exercise with a pupil and an instructor. On the approach to land at Finningley the aircraft was flying too fast when the pupil lowered the undercarriage, this damaged the undercarriage system. Whether it was then further damaged on landing at Finningley is not stated in the unit records nor does it identify it.
