Meteor F.4 VT176 at Driffield airfield.
On 10th September 1949 the pilot of this No.203 Adavanced Flying School aircraft attempted to take off from Driffield airfield but the aircraft's nose failed to lift. It shot off the end of the runway and come to rest in a field beyond. The damage was repaired.
