Meteor F.4 VT142 at Linton on Ouse airfield.

On 7th October 1949 this aircraft stalled on the approach to land at Linton on Ouse airfield and landed heavily, the undercarriage broke. The aircraft appears to have been on charge with the Station Flight, Duxford and why it was at Linton on Ouse is not known. 92 Squadron moved from Duxford to Linton on Ouse during the same month, it may have been connected with this. My information may be incorrrect and it may have been a 92 Squadron aircraft.
