The Central Gunnery School record book (AIR29/1789) gives very basic information that on 1st November 1949 this aircraft received damage. Given the unit was based at Leconfield it probably occurred there. The damage was initially assessed as repairable but on 30th December 1949 this was upgraded to Re-Cat.Scrap and it met its fate.
