The Central Gunnery School record book (AIR29/1789) gives very basic information that on 16th June 1949 this aircraft received damage. Given the unit was based at Leconfield it probably occurred there.

The aircraft was damaged on 14th February 1949 which saw a Cat.Ac/FA damage assessment and the aircraft was repaired on site. It's AM Form 78 stated it was returned to the C.G.S. in May 1949. On 19th May 1949 and on 16th June 1949 it was further damaged with Cat.A/FA damage assessments made on these occasions.
