Mosquito FB.6 TA469 at Leeming airfield.

On 29th November 1949 this No.228 Operational Conversion Unit aircraft swung during a night take off which was not corrected and eventually the undercarriage collapsed. A slight crosswind was blowing and the airfield lighting had failed midway through taking off causing the pilot some issues. The damage sustained saw the aircraft written off.
