The Central Gunnery School record book (AIR29/1789) gives very basic information that on 24th October 1949 this aircraft received damage. Given the unit was based at Leconfield it probably occurred there. The damage was repaired on site with 60 M.U. having some involvement and it was returned to the C.G.S. on 19th February 1950.
