Mosquito FB.6 RS655 at Leconfield airfield.

On 3rd January 1949 the pilot of this Central Gunnery School aircraft made a poor approach to land at Leconfield in misty conditions. He attempted to fly an overshoot but crashed into the boundary hedge. The aircraft came to rest badly damaged and was written off.
