Mosquito FB.6 RS549 at Driffield airfield.

On 4th July 1949 this No.204 Advanced Flying School aircraft swung on landing at Driffield airfield, the pilot overcorrected the swing and the port undercarriage collapsed and broke off. The damage was initially assessed as repairable Cat.Ac/FA but the following day was upgraded to Re-Cat.E and it was struck off charge.
