On 17th January 1949 this No.228 Operational Conversion Unit aircraft suffered the port undercarriage leg collapse on landing at Leeming airfield. A Cat.Ac/FA damage assessment was made and it was repaired on site. The No.60 Maintenance Unit record book states that they undertook work on this aircraft at Lemeling in March 1949.
