Hornet F.3 PX394 at Linton on Ouse airfield.

On 20th April 1949 this 65 Squadron aircraft was flown on a low level navigation by a USAF exchange pilot. On landing at Linton on Ouse the pilot braked hard, this caused the aircraft to flip over and injure the pilot. On 13th April 1949 the same pilot tipped Hornet PX361 on it's nose at Linton on Ouse and bent the propellers.
