On an unknown date during November 1949 the No.203 Advanced Flying School record book states that an unidentified Vampire overshot the runway on landing. Damage would have resulted but the 203 AFS record book scribe did a poor job in recording their flying accidents during this period. More information is required. The 60 M.U. record book states that they worked on Vampire VT266 at Driffield in November 1949 and this may be the identity of the aircraft involved in this incident.
