The No.1 (P)RFU record book (AIR29/1809) gives basic information that during the month of May 1949 this aircraft was used on a flight. After landing at Finningley the pilot began to taxi around the airfield when the port undercarriage leg collapsed. This caused the aircraft to swing onto the grass and it then tipped onto its nose. Damage to the port flap, wing tip and pitot head resulted.
