Mosquito VI HR242 at Driffield airfield.

On 23rd April 1949 this No.204 Advanced Flying School aircraft stalled just prior to landing at Driffield airfield and sustained damage. Cat.Ac/FA damage was the initial damage assessment and a repair was begun on site by 58 M.U. however, on 8th June 1949 a problem must have been discovered as it was then re-assessed Re-Cat.E. It was struck off charge soon after and scrapped.
