Unidentified Hornet at Church Fenton airfield.
On 9th August 1949 this unidentified 41 Squadron aircraft made a heavy landing at Church Fenton airfield that saw the undercarriage collapse.
Pilot - F/O Roy Leslie Maslen RAF (196953).
This pilot had taken the roof off a hut at Trimley Heath GCI on 25th June 1949 while undertaking a training exercise.
