The Flying Refresher School record book (AIR29/1809) gives basic information that on 14th June 1949 this unidentified aircraft landed at Finningley but after landing the instructor caught his left show between the port brake pedal and the brake frame. This caused the aircraft to swing off the runway and onto the grass when the starboard undercarriage leg then broke. It came to rest with further damage the starboard wing.
