Unidentified aircraft damaged in the air, landed at Finningley airfield.

The Flying Refresher School record book (AIR29/1809) gives basic information that on 13th October 1949 this unidentified aircraft suffered its engine cowling come loose while flying at 6,000 feet. Damage to the starboard wing, tailplane, canopy and elevators resulted but the pilot appears to have gone on to land normally, probably back at Finningley where the unit was based.
