Mosquito T.3 VT613 at Driffield airfield.
On 9th December 1948 this No.204 Advanced Flying School aircraft swung on take off at Driffield airfield, the pilot overcorrected the swing and the undercarriage collapsed. The damage was assessed as being Cat.E/FA and normally this would have seen it struck off charge and scrapped. Unusually it was taken to Brooklands and re-assessed as Re-Cat.B and a repair in works was then carried out.
