Hastings C.1 TG519 near Dishforth airfield.
On 2nd October 1948 this 47 Squadron was on the approach to land at Dishforth airfield when it clipped trees short of the runway. Minor damage resulted. The squadron records for the era are missing from the pdf'ed version on the National Archives catalogue. A month later 47 Squadron Hastings aircraft were used in the Berlin Airlift.
