Wellington T.10 RP580 near Topcliffe airfield.
On 8th December 1948 this No.1 Air Navigation School aircraft was being flown on a single engine night flying training exercise. During the approach to land at Topcliffe the aircraft was flying too low, it hit trees on the approach and then crashed in the undershoot area.
