Buckmaster T.1 RP145 at Leeming airfield.
On 3rd November 1948 this No.228 Operational Conversion Unit aircraft was flown on a single engine flying training exercise. On the approach to land at Leeming airfield the pupil pilot was struggling to keep it level and online with the runway. The aircrafter undershot and the instructor took control but it was too late to stop it belly landing to the right hand side of the runway.
